The Department of Labor has issued a proposed rule that could substantially increase prevailing wage requirements across H-1B, E-3, H-1B1, and PERM programs. While the underlying wage data would not change, the proposal would significantly shift how wage levels are assigned—effectively raising required wages, including for entry-level roles.
