Employers To Continue Using Form I-9 Expiring 8/31/2019

USCIS has instructed employers to continue to use the current Form I-9 until further notice.

In April,  USCIS announced that they were simply proposing an extension of the current Form I-9 with no new changes.  The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires a 60-day and a 30-day comment period for this Form I-9 extension. In June, USCIS elected to extend the comment period to July 5, 2019.
