USCIS Conducts Second Round Of Random Selections for FY 2022 H-1B Cap

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that they have “determined that we needed to select additional registrations to reach the FY 2022 numerical allocations. On July 28, we selected previously submitted electronic registrations using a random selection process. The petition filing period based on registrations selected on July 28 will begin on Aug. 2 and close on Nov. 3.”  This second selection is based on the registrations that were submitted to USCIS in March 2021.

USCIS will update the myUSCIS accounts for the company representatives and attorneys with selected registrations based on this new “lottery”.  We will notify any clients that we assisted with the H-1B cap registration process in March 2021 if we receive notification that a registration has been selected.
