U.S. Travel Restrictions Lifted For Fully Vaccinated Foreign National Travelers Beginning November 8, 2021
Kevin Munoz, White House Assistant Press Secretary, has confirmed reports today that the U.S. will be lifting travel restrictions to the U.S. for fully vaccinated foreign national travelers beginning November 8, 2021. FDA approved vaccines, which includes those produced by Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, as well as those approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO) (AstraZeneca, Serum Institute of India, Sinopharm (Bejing) and Sinovac), will qualify.
This new policy will apply to both international air and land travel. Foreign national travelers to the U.S. will need to show both proof of vaccination as well as a negative COVID-19 test before boarding their flight. Foreign national travelers crossing a land border will not need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
