Temporary Evidence of Lawful Permanent Residence Now Available By Mail
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently announced that lawful U.S. permanent residents (LPRs) may be able to receive temporary LPR status evidence in the form of an Alien Documentation, Identification, and Telecommunication stamp (also known as an I-551 stamp) by mail rather than scheduling an appointment at a local USCIS field office. For more information, please visit the USCIS website.
LPRs interested in learning whether they meet the criteria for receiving an I-94 with an I-551 stamp without requiring an in-person interview should contact Maggio Kattar.
