Earlier today, a high-ranking U.S. Department of State (“DOS”) official stated that the computer system glitch and the resulting delays that visa applicants have experienced, are expected to be resolved at some point next week. The official also confirmed that DOS will prioritize the scheduling of visa appointments and the processing of visas.
