Honiyeh Sarpand is an accomplished immigration and corporate attorney with over a decade of experience advising individuals, families, startups, and multinational corporations. Known for her creative problem-solving and strategic insight, she delivers high-touch legal counsel across the full spectrum of U.S. immigration matters and business law. Honiyeh has extensive experience guiding IT consulting companies and other high-growth organizations through complex visa processes. Her work has helped clients build compliant and scalable immigration programs, particularly for technical roles in software development, data science, and engineering. She is well-versed in employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant categories and frequently advises clients on labor condition applications (LCAs), I-140s, PERM, EB-2/EB-3 filings, and consular processing. In addition, she is deeply committed to uniting families through family-based immigration petitions, including adjustment of status and consular processing cases. Her compassionate approach helps clients navigate the emotional and procedural complexities of sponsoring family members for permanent residency.

A recognized leader in E-1 trade and E-2 investor visas, Honiyeh has secured approvals in a wide range of challenging scenarios; including family-owned businesses, gifted investment funds, and acquisitions of distressed companies. Her signature approach includes a one-of-a-kind E-1 strategy developed specifically for social media influencers with predominant U.S. sales, underscoring her deep understanding of the intersection between modern business models and immigration law. In addition to her immigration practice, Honiyeh brings significant experience in business and commercial law, having advised clients on corporate formation, restructuring, service agreements, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. During her tenure as Managing Partner of her own firm, she supported entrepreneurs, small businesses, and international clients with contract drafting, due diligence, and general counsel services. She is a trusted advisor for cross-border clients, having consulted for a Canadian law firm on U.S. immigration strategy, and is known for bridging legal complexities with business and immigration goals through an empathetic and client-centered approach.

Honiyeh is fluent in English and Persian (Farsi), and is admitted to practice in Maryland, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
