Nancy is an immigration attorney based in our Washington, DC headquarters.  Nancy represents both employers and individuals seeking counsel on a wide range of employment and individually based immigration matters with a special focus on highly specialized visas for individuals of extraordinary ability. She is part of a large family of immigrants, including herself, and her experiences taught her early on the importance of and the need for access to committed advocates in immigration law.

Prior to joining Maggio Kattar, Nancy served as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Throughout law school, Nancy worked on immigration policy and advocacy, as well as family immigration and asylum matters at Catholic Legal Immigration Network and African Communities Together.  She served as a teaching fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project teaching D.C. high school students constitutional law, criminal law, social justice, and advocacy. Nancy also participated in WCL’s Civil Advocacy Clinic and represented clients in matters involving landlord-tenant law, unemployment compensation, and wills, trusts, and estates.

Nancy earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2018, her M.A. in International Affairs from American University’s School of International Service in 2018, and her B.A. in English with Minors in Philosophy and History from the University of Michigan in 2015. Nancy is also fluent in Malayalam.
